All Nushi Bosses in Beast of Reincarnation: Full Roster Verified From the Trophy List
Beast of Reincarnation’s major bosses are the Nushi — massive blighted beasts that anchor each stretch of the story, ending with the Beast of Reincarnation itself. Rather than guess at a boss list, this roster is reconstructed from the official trophy list, which names every major kill the game tracks. That makes the names below reliable even on launch day; the encounter order beyond Chapter 1 is marked where we have not yet verified it in-game.
Facts checked August 4, 2026 (launch day). Order and strategy notes are being verified in-game and will be expanded per boss.
The full roster
| Boss | Verified source | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Rangifer | Trophy “Rangifer’s End” + played | Chapter 1’s Nushi — first fought in a scripted arena, then properly in its lair |
| Lacerta | Trophy “Lacerta’s End” | Order not yet verified |
| Ursa | Trophy “Ursa’s End” | Order not yet verified |
| Corvus | Trophy “Corvus’s End” | Order not yet verified |
| Erymanth | Trophy “Erymanth’s End” | Order not yet verified |
| Taurus | Trophy “Taurus’s End” | Order not yet verified |
| Koo (Nushi form) | Trophy “Koo de Grace” | Your companion’s own Nushi form becomes a fight |
| Shidou & Nue | Trophy “Shidou & Nue” | Duo fight |
| Kunai & Kirin | Trophy “Kunai & Kirin” | Duo fight |
| The Beast of Reincarnation | Trophy “The End of Reincarnation” | Final boss |
Beyond the Nushi, the game also tracks elite golems (trophy “Wandering Duelist” for clearing them all) and mid-boss malefacts like the Nue Malefact in Chapter 1 — these are the recurring elite tier between story bosses.
How Nushi fights work
Two mechanics define the big fights, and both are worth internalising before Chapter 1’s rematch:
- Nushi kills feed Koo’s kit. Defeating a Nushi grants new Bloom Arts — Koo’s combat skills. The boss ladder is also your progression ladder, which is why fights are gated the way they are. Details on spending that power are in the builds guide.
- The first meeting can be a scripted loss-or-survive. Chapter 1’s Rangifer encounter puts you in a closed arena and ends with the beast withdrawing to its lair; the real fight comes after you open the Sealed Layer with three keys. Expect the pattern of “meet the Nushi, then earn the rematch” to recur.
In the fight itself, the loop is the same as regular combat, scaled up: parries fill each enemy’s Down Gauge, a staggered boss opens a Lethal window, and Bloom Arts accelerate stagger dramatically. Opening the Bloom Arts menu slows time, so use it to think, not just to spam — the walkthrough covers the Chapter 1 fight step by step.
Per-boss strategies
Individual strategy write-ups (movesets, punish windows, recommended Spirit Stones) are being verified in-game and will be added per boss — starting with Rangifer. We only publish what we have actually played or confirmed against footage of the live build, so this section grows over launch week rather than launching complete-but-wrong.
