Beast of Reincarnation Editions: Standard vs Deluxe

Beast of Reincarnation ships in two editions. The difference between them is entirely cosmetics and in-game currency — no story content, no season pass, no early access.

The pre-order bonus question

This one is genuinely unsettled. Some outlets list a Brown Shiba skin for Koo and 30,000 Amber as a pre-order bonus; others state plainly that the game has no pre-order bonus. Note that a Brown Shiba skin is also listed as part of the Deluxe Edition, which is a plausible source of the confusion.

We have not found first-party confirmation either way, so we are not going to assert one. If a pre-order bonus is the reason you would order early, check the specific storefront listing before you buy — and it will be moot after August 4 regardless.

Amber, and whether 100,000 is a lot

Amber is the game's currency. We do not yet know what 100,000 buys relative to normal earn rates, because that requires the released game. We will put a figure here once we can measure it rather than estimate it.

Editions FAQ

Is the Deluxe Edition worth it?

Everything the Deluxe adds is cosmetic or a currency head start — an Oni's Hat and Big Dipper sword for Emma, two Shiba skins for Koo, 100,000 Amber and a set of seedlings. There is no extra story content, no expansion pass and no early access. If you want the cosmetics on day one it is a $10 upgrade; if you do not, the Standard Edition is the whole game.

Are there pre-order bonuses?

Coverage disagrees on this. Some outlets report a Brown Shiba skin for Koo plus 30,000 Amber for pre-ordering, others report no pre-order bonus at all. We have not found a first-party listing that settles it, so treat pre-order bonuses as unconfirmed and check the storefront you are buying from before ordering for that reason.

Is there a physical edition?

Physical Standard and Deluxe editions are sold at the same prices as digital, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. There is no physical PC release.

Do I need to buy it if I have Game Pass?

No. The game is on Game Pass from day one on Xbox Series X|S and PC. Buying gets you permanent ownership and, on the Deluxe tier, the cosmetics. See the platforms page.
